Foodiac Launch in Dubai

Foodiac is an unique concept, bringing customers and businesses a wide range of private chefs for all kinds of events. is a Finnish website franchise and it was launched on 13th October 2015  in Dubai. The launch event was at East Wing gallery, Limestone House, DIFC.

Foodiac gathers the best chefs in UAE under one roof at Foodiac.AE. They have some of the best local and global chefs. You can choose your favourite chef for a home dinner or any other event. Their goal is to offer an alternative for fine dining restaurants and to take catering to a new level.

Their service includes everything from getting the ingredients to cooking, serving and clean up  of your home and venue.

If you are planning a dinner at home or or you want catering for special event  then Foodiac is the best place to call. They bring private chefs to your event, whether it is Cookery classes, dinners at home, tastings and catering.

I was invited to the launch event. Not only did I go to the event, I also got to see amazing art works and the photo gallery. The East Wing Gallery in DIFC was showcasing ‘The Other Hundred’ photo installation of entrepreneurs all over the world.

The evening started off with the founder Mikka Makio’s address to the group. He gave a brief talk about Foodiac. We were also introduced to the other members of the team.

We were treated to a variety of canapés. We also got to meet some of the chefs. I was delighted to meet some of the bloggers I know and I also got to meet some new people.

I wish Foodiac.AE all the best in their UAE venture.
