Attended one of the best events of the year – 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai. I had the honor of being invited to the Fourth edition that took place from January 9th-11th 2026 in Dubai across three venues- Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre and Museum of the Future.
The 1 Billion Followers Summit, often called the 1 Billion Summit is a major global event held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It focuses on the Content Creator economy and brings together digital creators, influencers, platforms, brands, investors and media leaders from around the world.
The summit explores how digital content, influence and community-building can be channeled for economic growth and positive societal impact
The summit plays a strategic role in formalizing the creator economy as a profession and industry, helping platforms, creators and businesses collaborate. It also reinforces Dubai’s positioning as a global hub for creative innovation and digital media.
The theme for this year’s edition was “Content for Good”~ emphasizing content that inspires, educates and creates positive change.
The summit this year attracted more than 30,000 + attendees from all over the world, there were billions of digital interactions and trending global hashtag #1BillionSummit ! It had big-name creators like Mr. Beast, actor Will Smith and many global talents.
I enjoyed the inspirational keynotes, panels, workshops and round table discussions on digital strategy, storytelling, creativity, monetization and technology.
Awards were presented to impactful AI-generated films and educational content, plus accelerator and mentorship programs for emerging creators and startups to develop their content business.
1 Billion Summit really matters to food and travel creators like me because it boosts my visibility and credibility. It’s a deal-making event, not just inspiration and helps me move from content creator to media brand.
Overall I had a great experience at the summit. I was not just attending- I was absorbing, learning and connecting. Looking forward to the fifth edition next year.
