The tradition of Oktoberfest began in Munich, Germany in 1810 and it is still as popular as ever, not only in Germany but all over the world. The celebrations start around mid to late September and lasts for 16-18 days.
One of the main features of Oktoberfest is the beer garden/tents, keg tapping, traditional costumes, traditional food, music and dancing. Outside of Germany, Oktoberfest has become a celebration of life, Bavarian culture, cuisine, German beer and fun.

The traditional and the most authentic Oktoberfest is hosted by Ernst every year and undoubtedly my favorite Bavarian beer garden and restaurant in Dubai.
