The 2024 and Third edition of the Michelin Guide Dubai was held at One&Only One Za’abeel Hotel on Thursday July 4th evening. It was a grand event where the city’s most noteworthy restaurants were awarded with the highly coveted Michelin stars.
I had the honor of attending the prestigious gathering in the world of gastronomy and witnessing the wonderful ceremony celebrating the diverse array of restaurants and cafes offering a colorful blend of cuisines in Dubai, a modern culinary capital.
The Michelin Guide Dubai is also a recognition of the chefs and other culinary talents who have chosen Dubai as a second home and a place to express their creativity.
The selection was announced during the press conference, followed by a premium cocktail reception and an after party. The premium cocktail celebrated the five aspects of Dubai: Diversity, Sustainability, Future, Dedication and Innovation.
I got the chance to taste the dedicated menu of creative and eclectic dishes that celebrated the city of Dubai and got to watch the chefs in action. Liked the fact that I got the opportunity to mingle with the industry’s superstars.
The Michelin Guide Dubai 2024 selection features a total of 106 restaurants, covering 35 different types of cuisine. It also includes 1 new two Michelin star, 4 new one Michelin star, 3 restaurants with a Michelin Green star and 6 new Bib Gourmands.

With its special awards, the Michelin Guide aims to highlight and celebrate the amazing diversity of the roles within hospitality industry, as well as its most talented and inspiring professionals.

Service Award- Team at DuangDy by BO. LAN
