Staycation at Manzil Downtown- Dubai

I remember visiting Manzil Downtown hotel last year to dine at one of their restaurant, I was wowed by the beauty and elegance of the hotel. And this summer I decided to have a staycation at this property.

Manzil Downtown in Downtown Dubai is an upscale boutique hotel managed by Vida Hotels and Resorts. Located close to Dubai Mall and with views of iconic Burj Khalifa, Manzil Downtown is the perfect choice for luxury hotel seekers.

Manzil Downtown has a contemporary Arabesque design. This sleek, stylish and sophisticated hotel offers good facilities and warm Arabian hospitality. 

The lobby of the hotel is bright and beautiful, it is adorned with vibrant Arabesque paintings and gorgeous chandelier.

We checked into the hotel around early noon, we  were offered welcome drinks and Arabic sweets on our arrival. Our check-in happened super fast and smoothly. After we got our access card, we went to our Deluxe Burj View Room.

Our Room

We stayed in the Deluxe Burj View Room which was cosy and compact. The main highlight of our room was the spectacular view of Burj Khalifa. What a joy it was to wake up to this view. 

We liked the personalized welcome platter, really appreciate the wonderful gesture by Manzil Downtown. The wifi was complimentary throughout the room and hotel.

Our room featured a queen-sized bed, the Arabic calligraphy on the headboard looked charming. The room was cosy and comfortable. 

Deluxe Burj View Room also included:

Bathroom 

The door-less bathroom featured a separate bathtub, shower, wash basin and toilet area. It had high-end toiletries.

Facilities 

Manzil Downtown has a state-of-the-art gym which is open 24 hours a day. No matter what time you’re in a mood for workout, the gym is always open. Our favorite facility is their temperature controlled swimming pool. With a book to read, I relaxed at the lounger by the pool. There is a poolside bar for drinks and small bites.

Dining options 

We visited Boulevard Kitchen their signature restaurant for Friday brunch. The Levant inspired brunch was amazing with a wide range of dishes and drinks. We also had our buffet breakfast at Boulevard Kitchen. 

For dinner, we visited their popular The Courtyard. A must-visit place for all Shisha enthusiasts. They offer a Mediterranean inspired a la carte menu. Their cocktails are worth trying.

Apart from the above two, they also have a sports bar, Nezesaussi at Souk Al Manzil and and an Italian restaurant in the hotel. Maybe next time I’ll visit them.

Manzil translates to home in Arabic, and on our staycation in Manzil Downtown we felt like we were at home. We enjoyed our stay in this property. We loved our room, fabulous hospitality, impeccable service and great amenities. Whether it is a solo trip or a business trip or a family trip- Manzil Downtown is the perfect choice.
