Dum Biryani by Tandoori Junction- Now Open in JLT

Dum Biryani Dubai

There is nothing more comforting and relaxing as ordering food at home and enjoying it while watching Netflix. It is therapeutic, I do it often. My favorite comfort food fix is biryani and I have it at least twice a week.

This time I decided to order biryani from a new place called Dum Biryani by Tandoori Junction that is located in Cluster F, JLT.

Dum Biryani is a delivery kitchen which opened recently. They offer North Indian cuisine and their speciality is various kinds of biryani.

Their menu features a range of Indian appetizers, kebabs, chaats, curries, biryani, breads and desserts along with Indian tea and cold beverages. They have good vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Being vegetarians, we only ordered veg dishes.

Few of the dishes we ordered were:

Flavor and texture rich Dum Dal Makhani was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. A definite must-try.

The Paneer Tikka Masala made with marinated paneer cubes and slow cooked with tomato and onion gravy was delicious in every bite.

Locha Naan is their invention and it had a blend of kulcha and naan mixed with spices. It was way too spicy and overpowering in flavor and taste. It didn’t go well with the two curries we ordered.

Dum Subz Biryani had fresh seasonal veggies and rice cooked in a sealed clay pot for two hours. It was good.

The refreshing Cucumber Raita went well with the biryani.

Overall, we liked the food, the pricing is reasonable too. The delivery was on time. Certainly worth ordering from Dum Biryani.
